Since 1994, the founders of Teragren have upheld a mission to help reduce the dependence on dwindling timber resources by manufacturing bamboo flooring, stair parts, panels and veneer form sustainably harvested Moso bamboo. As a pioneer in the green building industry, Teragren will continue to broaden its product offering to include not only bamboo products, but other environmentally responsible building materials of the highest quality for commercial and residential application.

Teragren is a manufacturer, not simply an importer, working exclusively with one factory group in the Zhejiang Province of China to ensure products are manufactured to stringent Teragren and environmentally conscious specifications. The factory is ISO 9001:2000 and 14001-certified with 11 quality control inspection stations in the production process plus a quality control engineer performing spot checks.


The Moso bamboo specified by Teragren for use in its bamboo building products is plantation grown in managed agricultural plots by independent farmers.
