Wood veneer is the ultimate expression of natures' beauty and diversity, and the veneer technology that we use ensures the maximum usage of the unique logs that nature has created. No other natural product can give us such an added value. Wood veneer as an interior product lends itself to numerous applications in our living and working environment for example, stylish furniture, decorative wood wallpaper or wood veneered flooring. All of which thanks to the range of wood veneer available and different finishing applications, allow every interior to realize its own unique character. You can find wood veneer in more than 140 different wood species. The thickness varies between 0.5 and 0.8 mm depending on the used wood specie. Remember that every tree is unique and it is possible that as in solid wood, there can be a difference in both the wood pattern and the colour even within the same wood specie. Just as no two persons are alike, so never expect two trees to be identical since every piece of wood is unique too. This beauty and diversity is sadly lacking in imitations such as laminate and melamine. These are imitations of wood and are dull and lifeless compared to the real thing and do not exhibit the depth and warm character of wood which is constantly changing under the influence of different lighting conditions. With the numerous imitations available, it is not always easy for the consumer to distinguish the difference between the natural product and the copy. The texture, which for every piece of veneer is unique, the distinctive colour, the warmth, the possibilities to repair or renovate ... these are only a limited number of the properties by which the natural product can be distinguished from the imitation.
